Food Triggers Cancer

Cancer became the number 1 cause of death in many countries, including in Indonesia. Although it can be detected early and treated with the latest therapies, this disease remains a deadly threat. The problem, though there are still many people who know the dangers of cancer but still living an unhealthy lifestyle.

A cancer researcher, Eden Tareke from the University of Stockholm, Sweden, found acrylamide, a cancer-promoting material formed in heated foods. According to the study, if fried carbohydrate-rich foods will decompose, and then reacts with the amino acids produce carcinogenic compounds (cancer triggers) called acrylamide.

For that reason, always keep eating regularly and maintain a healthy lifestyle early on can protect yourself from attacks of dangerous diseases. However, for patients with certain types of breast cancer, the consumption of tofu and tempeh can trigger the ever increasing amount of the hormone estrogen in the body that can actually stimulate cancer spread more quickly.
