10 Signs Your Baby Gets Illness

One difficulty in infant care is to know whether your baby is healthy or not. Babies can not tell us what they feel, so we must rely on their body's reaction. Fortunately, the baby always give signs when it is not healthy. The signs can be very real or less real. Fever / cold, vomiting, and biduran are some of the signs are real. The less obvious signs include being passive or whiny, not interested in what's going on around him, lack of appetite, or no bowel movement in several days.

1. Yellow skin (jaundice)

When your baby's skin turn yellow, contact your doctor immediately. This condition usually occurs in newborns and infants indicate liver is not functioning properly. Sometimes, the symptoms did not appear until the infant is brought into the house.

2. Appetite Changes

If your baby repeatedly refused to eat or not in the mood to eat, call your doctor.

3. Mood changes

When your baby becomes passive or stimulated difficult, prone to crying / whiny and inconsolably, immediately contact your doctor.

4. Body Fever or Cold

Fever is the body's reaction to infection. One of the best ways to measure the temperature of the baby's body is wearing rectal or oral thermometer placed in the rectum or mouth. Thermometer strips on the forehead or palpability less accurately detect fever in infants. When the body temperature over 38 C mean your baby fever. If your baby is less than 3 months and fever, especially accompanied by other symptoms such as biduran, immediately contact your doctor. In older infants, you can give to defuse anti-fever heat. Contact your doctor if the heat does not go down after 24 hours.

5. Vomiting and Diarrhea

Vomiting is different from the spit, which are common in infants. Vomiting is more powerful, more volume and does not occur only after the baby is fed. Vomiting and diarrhea can be caused by infections, digestive problems and other diseases. Both are potentially harmful to infants because of dehydration. Signs of dehydration include infants: do not dry in six hours or more, crying without tears and dry mouth is salivating. Babies become weak, very sleepy and difficult to be awakened. You should immediately take him to the doctor if the condition is so.

6. Ear Problems

If your baby fever, weepy and pull or squeeze his ear, he's probably an ear infection. Ear infections are common and are not always harmful, but you need to consult with your doctor to get antibiotics for your newborn. Ear infections are left untreated can cause permanent hearing problems.

7. Urticaria / rash

Contact your doctor if your baby has biduran or extensive rash, especially when followed by fever.

8. Difficult Toilet

Each baby has his own bowel habits. There are daily bowel movement, there are a few days. If the baby does not fit the pattern of bowel movements normally, or when it seems hard during bowel movements, contact your doctor.

9. Eye Problems

If one or both eyes or the baby flushed to remove dirt (java: "ketepan"), check with your doctor.

10. Fall or bump on the Head

No matter how careful you keep it, your baby must never fall occasionally. The bigger, the more often they fall. When he fell from a high chair or separated from your pet, you should check the overall condition of his body and observe the health condition in 24 hours. When he cried after the fall, it was a sign he does not seriously injured. Bring to a doctor immediately if your baby:

• There was weak or confused
• Difficult to move parts of his body
• Have blood collects in the whites of his eyes
• Removing the blood from the nose (nosebleeds) and ear
• Focus eyes became crossed, the pupil size is not the same, or vomiting
• Crying loudly when a particular body part is moved / touched
• Sleeping longer than usual
